Ministro do STF suspende MP de Bolsonaro que restringia respostas via Lei de Acesso à Informação

O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), suspendeu nesta quinta-feira (26) os efeitos de trecho da medida provisória (MP 928) editada pelo presidente Jair Bolsonaro (sem partido) que limitava o atendimento de pedidos via Lei de Acesso à Informação (LAI) de todos os órgãos e entidades da administração pública cujos servidores estão sujeitos a regime de quarentena ou home office. A MP, que também previa a suspensão de eventuais recursos apresentados diante da negativa dos pedidos de informação, foi criticada por especialistas e organizações de defesa do jornalismo – entre elas a Associação Nacional de Jornais (ANJ) – e dos direitos civis por não deixar claro o que entra no critério de enfrentamento da questão de saúde e por reduzir a transparência do governo.

Advocacy groups are pressing the Federal Trade Commission to gather more information about how media and tech companies, including companies involved in distance learning, collect data about children.
“No federal entity has conducted a detailed and compulsory study of industry practice regarding contemporary children’s data collection practices across the digital landscape or ed tech,” the Center for Digital Democracy and Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood argue in a letter expected to be sent Thursday to the FTC.

Brands favour organic Facebook content amid COVID-19 uncertainties

The demand for paid ads on Facebook is decreasing as brands respond to the uncertain economic situation, according to new data from Socialbakers.
The social media marketing platform recently looked at the likely impact of COVID-19 on brands’ Facebook ad spend, cost-per-click (CPC) and engagement in Q1. Overall the study found that paid ads are decreasing as is CPC, while organic content is picking up.
